FE1 Suspension Upgrade
I have heard it's a good set up to start off with. The FE1 will provide a supple ride while the Z06 bars will flatten the corners. If you then feel you need more then upgrade the shocks. But a word of warning. A friend did the Blistien Sports and Hotchkis bars and now has regrets. The car is way too harsh for his tastes. I would try and find whatever set up your looking for a arrange to talk with the owner and get a test ride. I drove his car and at first I too thought it was TIGHT and PRECISE. I didn't have to drive the car every day over irregular roads that is causing him to have second thoughts.
Do the Z06/Z51 sway bars first then see if they meet your needs.
This is an easy step by step mod.

Shocks are a whole nother story. If your car is not lowered past the stock bolt / no bushings cut height be careful with shocks. I bought the Bilstein Sports and they were way to ruff for me. Sold them to a guy with a quite lowered car and he loves them. Can be a matter of taste - I'm 54 and my other car is a Deville.
I have not heard of anybody who has taken the Z06 bars back off because they did not love them.
Do the bars then measure your enjoyment. I do not have the ***** to push the car harder around the corner than the Z06 bars with stock shocks will handle comfortably.

I went with the Z06 bars and Bilstein Sports. The car is lowered with stock hardware and no cutting of bushings. I think the improvement in ride and handling is great. :yesnod: :yesnod: The shocks are a little more harsh, but a more controled. feeling. This is my daily driver, and no regrets here. I think the Sports pull the package together. IMHO, I would not do one without the other. :smash:
