We had a dyno day at MTI today and I dynoed my Z with the new FLP LT headers. Chris@Speed Demon installed them on Monday and we baselined the car before the install. My previous dyno #'s with only the Vortex were 353 rwhp and 340 rwtq. Today at MTI, my new #'s were: 372 rwhp and 362 rwtq. The temp was 83.6 *F, 39.07-.69 in. Hg., 0 ft., CF-1.00 I had a goal of 370 rwhp, so I'm very pleased with the results. I want to thank Chris for getting these put on my car in time for the dyno day and doing a good job with the install.

Re: Dynoed my Z with FLP LT headers today (rschiltz)
Great numbers Rick. Was the 353RWHP dyno done at houston performance? If so, their dyno is usually 10 or so RWHP lower than MTI's. I'm just curious so we have a better idea of how much RWHP the FLP's add.
For example, EBLU-BY-U dynoed at MTI (352RWHP) and then a couple weeks later at Houston Performance and dynoed (~340RWHP) and then went to the track a few days later and ran 12.10 at 116.96. Several other guys I know have dynoed abnormally lower at Houston Performace recently.

rschiltz, I'm glad you got the gains you were looking for. I hope all those waiting for FLP'S headers see that I'm not the only advocate!!!!
I left the cats on my car also, I had the off roads on and we got 10 more rwhp with stock programing on FLP'S dyno. I drive my car daily...... the neighbors apreciate it as well as my wife. When its track time the off roads go on so I can scream down the track.

Hey Rick,
Those dyno numbers look great! I am glad we could take care of you on the install. I agree though that you ought to try the Off road pipes just to see what you think of them. :yesnod:
As for Houston Performance's dyno being low, there are quite a few people that have dynoed and Houston PERF, MTI and UTI on the same day and gotten less that 2 HP difference in all three with all engine temps being equal....MR. Duran, any comments on that....

Barry,
I actually dynoed at two different shops that day(4/23). The first was at Houston Performance, where I dynoed lower, 349.5 rwhp, 340 rwtq. Then, I dynoed at Elite Motorsports, and pulled 353 rwhp and 340 rwtq. As is known, it was within the range of error, so I used the higher number.
