Default Fuel shut off problem

I have recently replaced my BCM in my 1999 manual 6 spd. I did the "relearn" process. Everything seemed like it was going to be fine. The car starts and runs. Everything seems to be working OK, except for the steering column. It will still not unlock on its own. And if you move the car, the fuel shuts off, causing the car to die. I unlocked the steering column by disconnecting it. Car would steer, but fuel shuts off. I pulled the recommended fuses to reset BCM. I can get the codes to stay off, but when I pull the key and try to restart, I am back to square one. I cannot find anyone who will reset my fuel shut off speed. They all tell me to take it to a dealer. It would have to be towed, then they want $100 to "diagnose". They told me since my car is that old, the recall is "closed" I would have to pay for the repair to fix the steering column. Is there anyway to get the steering wheel unlocked and the fuel to stay on at the same time??? If I buy the column bypass, is that going to solve the fuel shut off problem when I install it??
ANY help would be greatly appreciated!!
Thank you.

I don't think the dealer would increase the fuel shutoff. Your best bet is to fine a tuner or someone with HP Tuners that can increase the mph to a high number like 259 Good Luck

When you replaced the BCM, did you take it to the dealer to program in the RPO codes?
