Re: AF adjusting; AutoTap or LS1 Edit (Mike Mercury)
no need for a MAF T w/ LS1 Edit. You can adjust LTRIMS by two options. MAF Rate or Injector Scaling. There seems to be some controversy as to which way to go. It seems like TTS adjusts w/ the MAF Rate while Ed Wright adjusts w/ Injector Scaling. Also, you can adjust by RPM interval.
Re: AF adjusting; AutoTap or LS1 Edit (Mike Mercury)
So, if my goal is A/F ratio tweaking... and I buy LS1-Edit, do I still need a device like AutoTap to log a run and see where the ratio is off? Or will the LS1-Edit do that as well?
Re: AF adjusting; AutoTap or LS1 Edit (Mike Mercury)
LS1-Edit is just a PCM editor/programmer, not a scan tool, so you will still need something like that. I think you would do better using a WB O2 setup for AFR tuning than the onboard sensors though.
