Lately I’ve noticed when I try to stop, I feel my Vette still wants to go. As I’m stopping the tach will show 1,000 rpm until I come to a complete stop, then the tach will read 550 rpm. Anyone know why this is happening and what needs to be done to correct? The codes I show are BORFA U1000H and U 1064H. I have an '01 A4 with about 68,000 miles. The floor mat does not appear to be interfering with the pedal action.
Thanks in advance for your replies.
You might have a slight vacuum leak but not enough to throw a code. I would be looking at the pcv valve connection tube first, then the air bridge to insure its not coming off. There's also the small line going to the HVAC systems coming from the rear of the MAP sensor. Its subject to acid from the battery.

It appears the problem was caused by the rubber hose which slipped down from its original position on the metal HVAC line. Thank you for info provided. It surely resolved my problem.
