Hey guys. Im hoping to have my Z up and running in the next few weeks. Just H/C this year. No FAST. Anyway stock LS6 with LG Pro LT's, V-Ram, RPM 4.10 rear, LS7 clutch, TCI 25% UDP, and the heads are Trickflow 215's at 59cc, GM MLS head gaskets, 11.3 SCR. Cam is Comp X-ER 234/236 113+3. I'll be happy with whatever it does since it will considerably a lot more hp than I've had the last few years. lol.
I think I`ll do a bit better than that. Based on all the graphs I`ve seen. I`ll be dynoed on a MD-1750-Importdyne-DE. I`ve seen tons 440 rwhp 346 engines on dyno jets with AFR 205`s, stock compression and 224 228 cams. Im hoping for 450-460 everything else being relative. I have one of the best tuners in Canada or NA for that matter. He tunes 100 different parameters. Most dont come close to his detail.
Thats a low trap speed man. Stock Z`s can pull 116 mph. I`d expect 122-124. JMHO.
CAN and WILL are two different things.
All of the cars i've dealt with in the mid-low 400s at the tire were in the high teens. MAYBE you'll see 120, but it will require a hell of a driver mod.
I have a similar setup with tfs 215s 57cc chambers and a ported fast 90 g5x3 cam dyno chart posted below.
I've seen alot of out of the box tfs 215 headed combos do low 450s with ported fast 90s, On a honest dyno with the stock ls6 intake you will be in the low 440s by what I have seen.

Geez I just dont see traps THAT low. There's quite a few guys pulling 120 cam only.Albeit there are too many factors besides differentiating grinds being just one of them. I have arguably one of the best set of heads you can buy for a 346.. milled with a healthy street strip cam. I can shift real good. Im not doing this to drag the crap out of the car, but would like to go a few times. We'll see. Thanks for your opinions.

Dont get to into the numbers lots of inflated numbers on the web 440's sounds about right on a honest dyno as my friend said. We both expected to make bigger numbers then we did but fell short.
mine was 228-232 cam, tfs220's 59cc tea porting, ported fast 92/92 with ud pulley, and light flywheel.

I apologize, i must have missed the milled heads in the original post. I was thinking stock compression. You will probably be in the 450 range with a good tune and that cam at 11.3-1. Not sure about the 4.10s though. It might read a tad lower because of the gearing.
I still think a solid 120 trap is a good estimate on street tires with a average/good driver.

Your gears will not get you the numbers you are looking for. Stock gearing I would say 450+
You know I've read all this talk about the heavy LS7 FW and the power robbing yada yada... I have never felt like my Z lost any power when I did the clutch last summer. Revved just as fast, and felt just as strong as the LS6 clutch. JMHO.
Anyway my 4.10's were the best bang for a kick that I did, and would NEVER go back to 3.42's. NA of course.
