Why do you want to go to a dealer, when you can purchase from a vendor on the forum much cheaper, someone is havng a sale right now. The dealer want about $1100.
Thanx for the number. Same one I have. Dealer says it's for a stick shift only and wont work, but then they are going by the catalogs. As far as price.... well I kind of have a friend who works there and the Manager said I could have it at cost since it was for my car. I work for another type of dealer and we buy lots of parts. So I will ASSUME the fact that it's a stick shift rear end has no bearing? Thanx again, Jeff
BTW, like your signature! Do you by chance have the number for the 373? And why are you going with the 373 over the 342?[Modified by jeffh355, 2:02 PM 4/29/2002]
There is no GM part number for the 3.73 because they do no sell it. The 3.73 is a much quicker gear to get you to the finish line faster than a 3.42's
