Default Help Disconnecting Electricial Connector

I know this is not vette connected, but I thought someone could help.

I need to disconnect this "55" electrical connection to remove a shroud under the door panel to replace the window regulator on a 2003 Deville DTS. I do not find a release and the lock seen in the picture does not press down. Any suggestion on how to disconnect?

Thanks

Bob

Hmmmmm......if the center lock will not press down, I wonder if the tab surrounding it will bend up....allowing the center to pass under.

Looks like its the same type of connector that connects in the corvette traction control panel.

Take a small common scredriver, insert it into the right side of that connector where the elevated plastic stop keeps the connector from separating. Turn the screwdriver in either direction while pulling the connector apart.

I hope that makes sense

Thanks guys for the help. Turing the screwdriver off to the side did the trick.

I tried to lift up in front of the tab but the lock would engage the screwdriver.
