So a couple of weeks ago I am traveling from Dallas to Tulsa to visit friends when the car in front of me runs over a complete tread and throws the tire wobbling back at me. I swerve to the left and catch only the right hand side of the car with the tire. It scuffs the bumper and pushes the passenger side turn signal back about an inch. There is other minor damage (right front fender bottom screw, plastic cover on bottom is damaged and missing 2 screws.
But now the turn signal lights, but no flashing. I checked the cabling and replaced the bulb, but still no good. I suspect that the ground is not making contact, but am not sure how the turn signal lamp is grounded.
Ever figure this one out? I think I'm experiencing the same thing:
1. Passenger DRL/turn signal bulb is good and working.
2. Turning on right turn signal causes "fast-flashing" as only the rear bulbs are blinking.
3. Hazards flash all bulbs but the RF one.
I initially thought the hazard switch might be the cause, as I've had issues in the past w/ rain and moisture apparently causing both blinkers to stop blinking. But I've replaced the hazard switch now, and still have the non-active passenger signal.
