Default help needed thanks :)

this is a question for anyone who has had warranty work done on their car...

ok so heres the quick story, i have an 03 z06 the rear end was making a howling noise... the drivers side mirror wont hold a memory setting (stealership says they cant reproduce the problem) and window regulator has failed.....

i got the warranty company to repair the rear and and the window regulator and i went up to the stealership today to get a rental car and walk him through exactly what was going on with my mirror..

after talking to the service writer i notice something odd.. now all of a sudden when the key is removed from the ignition the radio no longer turns off.. and the steering wheel no longer locks... i brought it up to him and he says they hadnt done any work on the car but they would look into it...

my fear is something is wrong (not sure what) and my warranty company wont cover it.. is there anything i can do? ive had the car for about 4 months now and put about 3k miles on it and NEVER had this problem before until its been with the stealer for 3 days....

sorry for the long story , any and all help would be greatly appreciated

Radio has retained power and should not turn off until you open your door or turn it off. My passenger side mirror also is not retaining the memory setting. I am thinking about disconnecting the power to it. Have to readjust it all the time.

I think I have seen several posts on this, but they seemed very complex.I find it easier to simply readjust.

Yeah, but it is a PITA. May take the door panel off and disconnect the mirror motor.
