HVAC problem, FIXED
I noticed a few days ago the display on the "hvac" control panel was very dim, so I started checking on the forum to see if I could find some answers. The post by RPOZ4Z had the fix. I followed his instructions and the display is bright again.

5 years ago, I replaced my HVAC display because it was dim. Later, I read the above post reference for a fix and repaired my original unit but kept the newer one installed. Then, just recently, my new one became dim and I took it out to try the fix on it. It turns out, all the resistors were fine and I was unable to repair it. I now put the repaired original one back in and I have, at least for a while, a bright display. The newer one I cannot fix has part no. 09380441. This info may affect some people. And maybe, some bright forum member can find a way to fix the newer units.
