Question…Vette Acting Up. Need Your Help
I just had a A&A kit installed.. The install looks great. Happy with everything.
Well almost everything.. There are a few things I’m trying to diagnose.
1st Power Steering..
I have seem to of lost my power steering. I noticed it the day I pick it up when I test dove it was kind of tough. But didn’t really notice it till I got it home and drove it.
Check the reservoir and it was low. So I went out and got the correct P.S. fluid. Added it. Turned the wheel slowly back and forth an drove it a little. Still no P.S.
Anyone? Does P.S. have to come out to install A&A kit an maybe he didn’t bleed the system? Could the pump be bad? Anything to look for or check? Never a problem before.
2nd AC doesn’t blow as hard…
I know he told me he drained the lines and then recharged it after the install was complete. It blows cold just not hard. The compressor went out a year ago so compressor is new. Anything to look for or try? Never had a problem before.
3rd Don’t know how to explain this but I’ll try….
All the lights on the dash will cut off just in the middle of driving. Then come back on. Or they will be off an ill hit my blinker and they come back on.. Or they will be on an I hit my blinker and they cut off. Or they will dim and the come full bright. An I mean all lights.. Like Display on dash, AC, Radio lights, lights in general. No problem like this before. Maybe more to this that acting up but I haven’t noticed it yet.
4th Active Handling Warming Up
This light stay on. Not sure what it does, mean, or anything. I’m going to get a alignment done steering wheel straightened in next couple days.
I just really want to get this figured out. Never had any problems before this.
My PCM was locked so I bought a used one. By the time he got the used one he was able to get into the PCM to tune. Not sure if this has to do with anything.
The only problem I had before was my oil pressure was pegged out.
An I have ordered the senor sending unit. I didn’t think it was actually that high psi so I figured the sensor’s bad so I’m replacing that. Haven’t changed it yet just been trying to figure out what going on with above
I pulled the codes. There was a couple that pop up. I forgot the list this A.M. when I came to work. When I get home I will post the codes.
If anyone can help me out with a direction to go in I would truly appreciate it.
