RAM Mirror-Mate on C5

What do you guys think of this mount. My vent clip blocks all of the air from the center vent so my wife pulled on it and broke the clip mechanism. I think this is the perfect place for the cell phone because I hate the glass mounts as they fall off regularly. This says it fits GM mirrors.

I guess nobody thinks much of it. After holding my phone in that area in the car I think it blocks my field of vision way too much. I guess it's the visor or vent.

Radar detectors are usually put in about that spot and don't cause a problem so I don't think a small phone would either. Looks handier than the suction cup mounts for a detector too.
