Default static comin through speakers even when car is off

it sounds like a bad grounding problem,it is intermitten even when the car is off,the radio has been replaced and the problem still is ongoing
any help would be appreciated

You should probably try C6 forum or audio/electronics forum under general corvette. Or you could try using the search function, I've read about this on C6's before.
