BCM B1001 - reprogramming for restraint ID
Had my PCM and BCM replaced. Seatbelt/Airbag light is on the dash. BCM code B1001. Apparently there's a Restraint ID that needs to be programmed in the BCM and maybe the PCM to match the old SDM.
Still need to get the car retuned. Is reprogamming the BCM restraint ID to the SDM something a tuner should be able to do or is this a dealer only job? What would it take to do it myself?
