Default Silicone Coupler too big...

I am running a vortex air bridge to a vararam on my '99 FRC. Both of these items came with the car, so I never paid much attention to them. Well, I just got done my cam swap and realized the side going into the air bridge is too big...as I clamped it back down, there are tiny gaps for sure, no matter how tight I clamp it. Obvious solution is to measure and buy online, however I am going for my tune tomorrow or Friday and cannot wait for shipping on a coupler. What I need is either a local store that has them (I haven't found one yet) or simply a rubber adapter that I can fit over the air bridge, but under my existing coupler so it takes up the space and fits tightly. I am thinking this may be my only option locally. Anyone have any ideas on what I can use as an adapter?

Kind of a hillbilly solution...but, you can wrap duct tape around the air bridge(continuously), until you get a snug fit. Going to be hard to find something soo soon.

Wow, didn't even think of that. I honestly don't care how redneck rigged it is, I just need it to not leak air for the tune because it is after the maf. That is a good idea, I will do that. Thanks.

Check Vatozone or Advance. They may have a smaller silicone coupling over with the ricer stuff.

I work advance auto so what you can do is get online and search the size you need in the brand Spectre and then take that 4 digit part and to advance and some we carry in stock and others can be a next day order! They are cheap also! Hope this helps!

That does help, thanks. Yeah spectre is the one I bought, but 3" was a c-hair too small. Do they have sizes like 3 and 1/8? I think 3 and 1/4 will be too big.

Ugh I don't think they even make them in a 1/8th size!

Ah, well no biggie. I can duct tape to get me through the tune so I have no leaks and just measure and order online at a later time.
