I know Double D mods will take your current bezel and modify it to hold a double din radio, but they charge like $200 bucks yet it in my experience in the past, all I've had to do is trim with my trusty Dremel tool to get one to fit. Is that all these guys are doing or are they doing something with some fancy plastic welding and retexturing or something?
Not fancy welding but they do spend a fair amount of time cutting, filling, reenforcing and painting your bezel... The opening has to be enlarged a lot.. Give Dennis a call and ask him what they do... He's a super nice guy and will answer your questions..
I live about 3 hours from his shop.. Before I bought anything from him I thought I'd check
him out.. He and his wife do all the work, they have a nice shop and Dennis is one good
guy.. He spent a couple of hours BSing with me and answering my questions..
He has good products, good support and does a good job.. Or at least everything I've seen is good... I spent about a grand with him and am VERY happy.. But I guess you can tell that from the message...
Good luck... Give Dennis a call... He's a good guy.. Tell him that Joe from Rochester recommended him.. And he should send me a finders fee... Only kidding!!!

Sounds good, Joe!!! I appreciate it. It's probably worth just letting them do it rather than risk me doing it and not doing it right and it either looking like garbage or screwing it up and having to buy ANOTHER entire console piece and still not having a double din and spending just as much, lol. Thanks again, I'll give him call and do some name dropping.
