Hey guys I've noticed lately my back left tire seems to loose air pressure over the course of a week or two I refill it and it drives fine. Any suggestions on what it could be? I'm using the stock tires and size
Take it a tire place, have them pull it off the car and check for leaks.
A hole in the tire, leak at the rim/tire interface, TPMS nut torqued to proper value, bad TPMS o-ring or valve stem leak. Would suggest using a tub of water to dunk the tire in (or at least a portion of it at a time) or take it to a tire shop.
My 99 has the same problem (same tire) I am pretty sure its the tpms sensor o ring or seat. It never leaked prior to having the tire shop rebuild them when I bought new tires. Not consistant either, sometimes I'll lose 10 lbs in 2 weeks. Sometimes none!! I just havent taken the time to take it in to Discount tire
I had the same problem with my 98 after I changed tires. The problem went away when I bought new rims and had all four tires put on the rims. I think it was fixed by the remounting but there are a lot of variables as mentioned above. You could try the easy ones first which is tighten the tpms nut first.
