my C5 has been acting since forever,, i tried everything mentioned in the forum in order to have it electrically stable,,
here are the symptoms:
1- false "low coolant" message
2- no horn
3- false "charging system error" message
4- HVAC
a- AUTO doesn't operate the fan
b- fan doesn't easily respond to speed control buttons
c- i always hear actuators running endlessly in central dash
5- "service ride control" message
here are the codes i got:
HVAC
B0361 HC
B0363 H
B0365 H
B0367 H
B0441 H
B0446 HC
I know nothing about the RTD system so can't suggest anything to you and I'll default to a better person. As for the HVAC codes, try clearing them all now, manually. This will force the the actuators to recalibrate. If the codes come back, then you probably will find cracked gears inside of them. In your case, from the codes, its complaining about both sides.
Have you checked the fuses? Checked the starter solenoid electrical connections? There is a ground down between the battery and fuse box that should probably be looked at. Also the ground packs at the top frame rails directly adjacent to the hood risers.
