Turn the ignition on but don't start the car.
Bring up oil life % on the DIC. :D
Push reset, it should go to 100%. :smash:
Start it up and listen to the CORSA's purr

Here is a "cool" way to do it posted by CARPE DM

Put key in the "on" position and pump the gas pedal three times.

It was designed this way to help avoid another grease smear on the dash by the oil changer.

I tried to reset my oil percentage as is stated above but mine doesn't go to 100%, after hitting the reset button as stated it shown ---% and then when I go back and start the car it goes back to it's original 42% oil life left. Any thoughts???

You revived a thread from 2002 for this? Either hold the reset button till it resets or turn on the key and press and release the gas pedal three times. I'm assuming you have a C5, you didn't say, but did post in C5 so I'll make the leap. Your profile says 1990, so if it's a C4 there's a different procedure completely.

Here's the exact words from the Owner's Manual.

1. Turn the ignition to ON, with the engine off.
2. Press the TRIP button so the OIL LIFE percentage
is displayed.
3. Press RESET and hold for two seconds. OIL LIFE
REMAIN 100% will appear.

Are you holding the Reset button long enough?
