Okay I have a stock C5 Coupe with a CAI & Route 66 catback that was on the car when I bought it! Its way to quiet and I'm ready for a change! Right now I have $1100 dollars to spend on my car so my question is should I buy the exhaust that I want or should I spend the $1100 on the cam, springs, etc?
I priced a B&B Bullet exhaust for $750 from a vendor on the site and I priced a kit with everything except heads from Texas Speed for $1100? I need some opinions?
Does that 1100 factor in the 400 dollar tune you are going to need with the new cam?
Go with the XS power or TSP headers and then buy a zo6 exhaust. they are lighter than the bullets. the axlebacks dont really do much for power anyway. so for 1100 you can get a complete system back to front if you go with the ti's
XS Power long tube headers will wake up the engine as well as wake up those Route 66 cat backs. I took off my Route 66 (too loud) and put on TI's after installing the headers.
