Default LS1/LS6 intake

How can you tell an LS1 intake from an LS6,can you tell bythe numbers that are on the intakes?

What about visual when it's on the car? I have a 01 it's supposed to have the ls6 but not sure of the build date.

No difference. 2001-04 LS1 and LS6 are the same.

LS1 intake has a flat bottom with more space between it and top of engine block. LS6/laterLS1 has a curved bottom with not much space between manifold and block. You can see the difference by looking at it from the passenger side of the engine compartment.

Nope. 2001-2004 intakes have a flat bottom, and 97-2000 have a curved bottom.
