Quick question for fuel filter replacement

I have a 2002 basic Corvette. Is there a special tool I need to replace the fuel filter? I have read some directions that say no, and then have read some that say yes. Please advise if anyone knows, thanks.

Fuel filter

There is a special tool set for disconnecting the fuel lines, but it isn't essential to have it, just makes removal easier.

NAPA has them. I think there under $10.00. I believe they are 3/8.

There are three connections with two different sizes (metric) on the filter/regulator body for a 2002 model. If you do not use the correct tool you risk damaging the fuel hoses. OP, perhaps it would be wise for you to consult the service manual before replacing the filter/regultor.
