I installed my Vararam on my 2004 yesterday. It took a total of 6 hours which included getting it off the ground and back down. I have fog lights which added a bit of time.
The fit wasn't exactly what I expected but I think it's OK. The biggest problem I ran into was trying to put the shroud back in. It was hitting the air box and would not go in. I called the service line and even though it was Saturday someone answered. I had tighened the 2 bolts holding the scoops to the bumper and the guy on the phone said to remove the bottom bolts and loosen the top ones to get the clearance needed. He also said that the bolts were not really needed to hold the scoops in place. The scoops actually fit better by doing this.
Once I got enough clearance to get the shroud it it still bowed down about 1/2" but it seems to be OK, its not going anywhere.
Installing the air bridge was the easiest part. The MAF goes directly into the new air bridge and I had to really push it in while tightening the clamp to keep it in. It kept trying to come back out about 1/4" and it's still about 1/8" from being flush. The hoses worked well and I didn't have to cut anything to get them in. The long one worked perfectly at the aitbox.
I drove it down the road and got no codes but I don't drive it very hard anyway. I'm waiting on my HPTune package and wanted to get this done before I get it tuned. My next job will be LT headers.
WOW! I installed the Vararam on my 04 in just over 2 hours taking my time and zero fitment problems w/fog lamps.I have done about a dozen for local owners now and it takes me just over an hour now.I added the power duct later but that only took like 20 minutes or so. To be fair I have been a certified ASE Master Tech for 30 years and have 10's of thousands of dollars in tools. You are going to enjoy your new found power!

You might notice some surging from the engine at cruise speeds for a while. This is normal,,,,your car is learning how to deal with all the new air. It goes away within 200 miles or a few passes down a dragstrip!
