Sqeaking suspension.....for dummies?
I too have the squeaking suspension issue. My 01 squeaks everytime I go over any little bump at all. I am relieve that it is a simple diy fix to hopefully get it fixed. Does anyone have pictures of the process of lubricating the sway bars? I'm a bit on the auto mechanic challenged side and want to be sure I'm taking off /lubricating the right stuff. Any pics either photos or drawn would be much appreciated!

I swapped FE1 bars for FE3 and used teflon tape
I didn't try using grease on the bushings but used about 3 or 4 layers of plumbers teflon tape on the bar under the bushings instead. So far so good. Might want to try that.

Case in point, I just did the front and rear sway bars, new sway-bar bushings, marine grease, new sway-bar-end-links and 4 new shocks.
Guess what - I still have the suspension squeeks and groans.
So now we are doing a replace of the front tie-rod-ends, front lower ball-joints and front control arm busings.
