Did ARE dyno my car yet before they took apart to motor? Just want to know the numbers. Didnt think anyone would be there today so I figured I'd just post the question. Feel free to call or email me if you want.

We dynoed the car this morning before we got busy with a few custom tunnig jobs(LT1 and LS1). The car dynoed 287rwhp but not sure the trqu. Appart first thing Monday morning!!

Damn. That seems AWFULLY low for all the bolt ons I have. Whats the stage 1 heads and 224 cam pack suppost to gain.

I feel that the heads/cam you are going with should gain somewhere around 60-70rwhp on an a4.

I shouldnt of even asked. That totally sucks!!!!! I think I'm gonna cry. Whats the problem with my bogged down POS LS1? Hardly worth doing a h/c job. I'm highly disappointed. Not at all with ARE ofcoarse but with my POS engine.

Have you run your car at the track before and after your bolt ons? I would worry less about the dyno numbers, and look for improvement on the road and at the track where it counts. Automatic cars can give funny dyno numbers, yet still run like raped apes :yesnod:

I'd get a TQ convertor and a reprogram while it's there. Well worth it. Probably improve your performance almost as much as the engine work.
