Excellent Radar Detector Mounting Brackets
If you are looking for a really excellent quality mounting bracket for your radar detector check this site www.J28designinc.com I just bought one of their brackets for the OnStar unit I'm putting in my 02 C5. It is a beautiful piece of equipment - though not cheap. They also make brackets for the stock C6 mirrors.

CAUTION... That's a fine looking mount, but it will NOT work on all C5 mirrors. Some mirrors have a long neck, as is illustrated on their site, and it will work OK. Other mirrors such as mine have a short stubby neck, and it will not physically attach.
If I recall, it's the auto dimming mirrors that have the short necks.
