I've learned a ton of good and useful information from Corvette Forum. Thanks for all that have contributed. I am starting to develop a nice little side income helping local friends tune, fix and modify their Corvettes. Not to mention keeping my C5 on the road... I'm shooting for the high mileage honors, but I'm several years away from the 400k mark.
Knowledge is power, my friend. The more you read, the more you know and knowing is half the battle, so says G.I. Joe. Seriously though, the more you read about these cars and the issues that people have, the better prepared you are for if and when you should have hiccup with your car. You'll probably have some clue as to where to at least start and have an "oh yeah, I remember reading that guy's frickin' post about some similar sh*t, (under your breath "God d*%n car").
No, I never read it, never, I mean really, never ....... almost never, sometimes, perhaps on occasion, maybe everyday (hour). NEVER!
I start out reading Tune section, then Tech about 4:30am each day. First post I find of Lucky's I search for his other posts. After I get my ammusment (and GOOD info) from them it's back to Tech. If it's not 5:45am yet I read General.
Learned a LOT from LOT of people and of course some of the gurus who share thier experiences and hope with us.
Have a nice day CF, I've got a killer ahead of me!
Everyday for years....several times a day for sure. Learned alot, still learning alot! Nothing short of a compendium of Corvette knowledge readily available for us to sort through. It's the best thing in the history of Man since the advent of the Service Manual.
