I have a 1998 C5 and have a ABS problem I just can’t fix.
The problem is when I slam on the brakes the car locks up one front wheel and you can hear the pump working as you skid to a stop then the DIC say “ABS is Activated”. Then I do it again and the other wheel skids as I come to a stop. Now I have a new pump and a overhauled control unit. No codes and everything checks out so far. Any ideas?
there are no codes C or H . boy do I wish I had codes it would point me in a direcction. Ho one other thing the brake lines have been on the car for only 10,000 miles. mind you that does not mean they are still good. I am going to get new ones today.

How are you reading your codes?
Why were the lines replaced before? Stock rubber, stainless steel? How does your brake fluid level in the reservoir look? Are you leaking any or is it full?
