99 corvette - just put in 2002 engine

While driving home at 55mph - mileage was showing 85mph - is this the speedometer? also the dic was reset, but not working right. the oil was changed, but the display shows it is low. The mileage was at 90,000 and doesn't display when you turn on the engine.

Sounds like you had it on the Metric readout. There is a button on the left side of the gauges that says "E/M" - it switches you between English and Metric. 55mph is 88 kph.
