Tranny leak
The past 3 days it has been cold here ( 46 Deg. ) When I start car I get a puddle about 3 inches around of trans. fluid.
I can see its dripping from the front of the trans. The pan bolts were a little loose, I mean I got 1/4 turn on each pretty easy but it still leaks Could it be a leak from a seal on the front of the Trans.
After it warms up it does not leak anymore until the next morning. Any help would be appreciated and some ideas what Im looking at for cost if its not the pan gasket.

Which transmission, auto or manual? My first thought is that if its leaking as you say, you need a seal of course. Rather than wait and let it get worse, take care of it now as you are losing fluid which will compound your problems quickly.
