cam surge or something else
I have a 99 coupe with a small comp cam. I had it tuned about a year ago and it was all good up until a few months ago. I noticed it starting to surge so I went ahead and did long tubes open element filter and an under drive pulley on it. Then I took it to get refined from a vary reputable shop here in houston thanking the refund would get rid of the surge. I brought up the surge to the tuner but he thinks it is cam surge. He tuned it and said he had looked over everything vary closely and could not see anything unusual. I don't know what else to check. It only happens at cruising speed like cam surge but as I stated it was not that bad until a couple of months ago.
I have a front wheel hub going bad. Is the speed sensor integrated in the wheel hub and if so could this be causing the problem?
