Default Low coolant!!!

My Vette was leaking coolant fluid from the cap and the fluid was low too. *I replaced the cap and top off the coolant fluid. * Now, the computer keeps telling me "low coolant". How can I clear this message?

Depending on the year of your car, there's a sensor in the bottom of the surge tank which is probably gotten contaminated. You can try flushing out the tank or replacing the sensor.

same is happening for me, probably the sensor on the bottom gets damaged when coolant leaks on it.

You should at least verify the circuit is good.

Im pretty sure the tank sensor is built in and not replaceable, new tank is required which includes
a new sensor.
A side note...Last season my low coolant light came on for no reason (coolant level was fine)
and I just unplugged the sensor and plugged it back in a few times then put some dielectric grease in the plug and it's been working fine ever since. Sludge build up is an issue as well.
