Default Vossen VVS087 on C5??

Does anyone have a set of these wheels on their C5. I really like them but Vossen says they will not fit although I have seen picture that contradict that. I want to know how well they fit. The link below shows them on a C5 Z06 but can't tell how much they sink in the rear.

Any input would be helpful!

I have a set on my car. The rears require a 1/4 spacer.

Here's some, all crappy iPhone pics but they work.

I said early you can run them with a 1/4 spacer and there is another wheel company on the boards that I've seen do this too. I first tried 3/8 but wanted the rears a little farther out so I ended up going with 5/8 giving the rear wheels an offset of about 59mm, but anything larger than 1/4 will not rub. I've been pretty happy with them. I really like the silver centers that match my paint.

Those look pretty sharp. JMHO, but if you're going to go anything beyond a 1/4 inch spacer you really ought to use a hub centric adapter.

I'm guessing you pressed in longer studs to be able to run that 5/8" spacer?

Thanks for the info. A 1/4" spacer wouldn't be bad but it sounds like to get the proper look a much bigger spacer is necessary. Like the wheels but I won't be going that route. Thank you very much for the information and the pics. Your car looks great!
