Default Just ordered roll cage....nice setup!

Finally ordered a 5 point roll cage for my car. The setup is manufactured by Wolfe Racing and is made specifically for the C5.

The setup is made out of chromoly tubing and has a removable swing out door bar. The system is NHRA legal and is a bolt in unit. The kit is available in either a bolt together or weld together style. The weld together is all fabricated and "jig notched" . This setup is quite a bit cheaper then the bolt together if you have the capability to weld. The 5 point weld together kits goes for about $ 600.00

Here is the link http://www.wolferacecraft.com/pages/c5.htm

Lead time is approx. 2-3 weeks as they fabricate to order.

ok, after checking the site, which one did you get?
CWOL-03CM - 4130 Cromoly 6-Point Weld/Bolt-in Kit with two swing out doors???
did you go for the bent or straigt rear bars?
did you go for the jig notching?
will you still be able to put the removable top in?
can the swing out arm be removed for when you are not at the track?

thanks in advance

I went with the chromoly 5 point. I don't think it is listed on the site but talk to Dan an he can price it.

Jig notching is needed when doing the weld in style.

Yes the swing out bar can be removed. Thats why I like this setup.

That looks like a great setup, would love to see it powdercoated in black. One thing, it looks like the main hoop may block the rearview mirror. The main rollbar I've been looking at buying from DRM has the main hoop bent upwards in the middle. I sat in a car with the DRM rollbar and was able to see out the rearview mirror perfectly. :yesnod: Either way, for the price, this is a great deal for a bolt-in 6-point rollbar setup. :yesnod:

When you get the bar in will you be able to come to the Corvette Challenge ? It would be great to see and show off one in person.
