My passenger window will not roll down....HELP!!
My passeneger window only rolls down about 2 inchs, but it rolls back up fine. When I took it apart it looks like the cable is fraid. Has this happened to anyone else???? Does anyone know where I can get a cable for the power window? Or do I have to buy A whole power window track from GM?

Don't know about the fix but be glad it didn't get stuck in the down position...had that happen on another vehicle before and that REALLY sucks.

I believe that the regulator is a one piece unit with the cable included. Ken Fichtner has them for under $200.00, I think! (don't quote me).

I love my vette..... but why is it that a 40-50 thousand dollar car has problems like this? When a 12-18,000 car like my ghetto corrolla's windows always work. Just because it is a Vette I forget that I'm still dealing with GM!!!

If that doesn't work try hitting the inside of the door, just to the upper right of the speaker, with the palm of your hand WHILE HOLDING THE SWITCH DOWN.
Usually happens as a result of lack of use.
