Brake Hose Replacement
Hey Guys,
Getting ready to replace my brake hoses, which I've not done before. I'm replacing the OEM rubber with SS hoses. These came with 2 brasss crush washers. Question - do both washers go directly under the bolt head?

no, one between bolt head and top of fitting on hose, second one between caliper and bottom of fitting on hose
and torque the bolt to correct spec
too loose and can leak, too tight and could break the bolt off
if you don't have the torque spec, I can look it up for you
be sure to orient the hose in the direction you want it to point as you do the final tightening
and if you mess up and have to loosen, "they" say not to re-use the washers, but to get new ones
some people reuse, some don't
any decent parts store should sell packages of various size washers for those occasions
