The latest vette I bought has the door guards down the side. Its one thing I can stand on a vette, think it ruins the cars nice lines. Anyway, has anyone ever removed these without trashing the paint? Any trick you can pass along would be great.
Wow, 8 year member. How have you avoided all the polls and arguments about body side moldings (BSM's)? I'm not going to type out all the instructions, but you can find many many threads with pictures. Basically some fishing line to saw through the double sided tape and some goo gone to remove the glue and lots of rubbing. Several have been successfully removed, but some have reinstalled theirs when they started and found that the car had been painted without removing them and the paint didn't match. Remove them carefully and you can sell them to other members who are looking to add them to their car. Good luck!
Amazing how people have been on the site for years and ask basic multiple discussed questions,,,,,,,,,,,,,just plain lazy..................members are here to help, but being lazy does not get it................................

Sorry dude, not a TROLL, just tired of people asking the same questions over and over, when a simple search could have gotten them answer's.
Now if you had said that you searched but could not find an exact answer to the question, then there are a lot of people who would step in to help. Some peep's think that by posting a question that it will get an answer in 5 minutes, instead of attempting to search out their subject. Not trying to be rude, but I have seen questions asked and if you scrolled down about 4 to 5 posts, someone else has asked the same question and gotten a few answer's. To me that person is just too lazy to even check the last 24hrs of posts.
