no start on first try.
hey yall. i just bought a 2000 c5. i am having a small problem with it. when i get in it first thing in the morning it cranks like a champ. any time after that when the car is warm it wont crank on the first try. but on the second try it fires right up. i dont think it is the starter as it turns over just wont fire.
i pulled my codes and the only one i have is for the seat module and one for hvac. i read somewhere that i may be able to put a new ignition in it and it may fix it.
do yall have any suggestions?

Well, what were the codes in case of a serial interface issue. You probably should look at a couple of things such as the battery voltage with a meter and ignition off and you could check things such as various ground packs. Does anything else fail when this happens? You might also want to check the fuel pump relay for burned contacts or check for fuel pressure when this happens.
