bogs down
When I accelerate the car will start to take off then seems to bog down. I let off a little bit and accelerate again and it takes off. Don't know why it does that. Any ideas. I am not knowledgable on these things so I figure I would ask the experts. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Did you reinstall your OEM air intake to determine if its the new CAI or another problem? Stock tune, right?
Some members have complained about 'surging' and other issues after installing some types of CAIs....
Check for any air leaks, e.g., loose clamp, coupler....

Reinstalled old and no difference. Reinstalled new again and all is tight. No leaks but still have problem. Yep just stock tune.

In the old school days, it was a sure sign of the mixture too rich which is why we're asking about the tuning or mods done too it. When you pulled the codes, did you do so via the DIC? I'm wondering if you have a stuck injector. Do you smell any fuel out the exhaust or really strong exhaust smell? Black smoke out of there? You could measure the temperature of each exhaust manifold pipe for each cylinder and see which one is possible causing the issue, then pull its plug.
