Need Help with wheel spacer math..
THANKS!
Jon
Thank you oh wise internet Troll.. Lots of help buddy Thanks
So right in my title i posted (Wheel spacer MATH) meaning that i do not know the offset and Maybe just Maybe there was a C5 owner that had put C6 Zo6 wheels on their car and went through what im doing..
What is the offset of your wheels in mm?
What is the width of your tires?
What is the amount of 'flare' in your TPE quarter panels, e.g., 2"?
What is the distance between the edge of your quarter panel and tire (gap)?
Do you want your wheels flush with the new panels or recessed (mm)?
Solve for width of wheel spacer or adapter, e.g., 1/2" spacer, 3/4" spacer or 1" adapter
There are a lot of members using TPE and L5 fender flares on this forum.....
C5 (coupe/vert): Front 17x8.5, +58mm offset = 7.03" backspace and Rear 18x9.5 +65mm offset = 7.81" backspace
C6 fronts are 18x8.5 with offset of +56mm and the rear is 19x10 with offset of +78mm
2006+ Z06:
Front: 18 x 9.5, Offset: +40mm, Tire Size: 275/35/18 and Back Spacing: 6.82” (173.35mm)
Rear: 19 x 12, Offset: +59mm, Tire Size: 325/30/19 and Back Spacing: 8.82” (224.09mm)
Here's a link to an offset calculator that will help you determine where any given wheel will be:
