go with TSP or XS power. same price as OBX (within 1 hundred or so) both bolt right in. Search around here to find where people have had to get muffler shops to bend, cut and weld their obx to get them to fit. Then there are measurements posted here about how the primary runners are smaller than everyone elses so power would take a hit as well. My TSPs cost me 700 bucks and I had them installed from start to finish in 4 hours out of my garage on jackstands. The hardest part was lining up all the slip fittings.
I agree with them. my car came with obx sounded great but when i had to smog. there was no catted xpipe so i had to uninstall. Taking them out was a pain in the butt. ive heard a lot of great things about xspower installs!
OBX primary tubes are 1.70" versus 1.75", personally I don't think it's that big a deal.
Driver side header had to be dinged to clearance the bell housing. Both sides have the O2 sensor angled to steep. Some people cut out a couple holes in the tunnel plates. I opted the cut them out and reangle them and weld them in ( I still had to ding the tunnel plate)
X-pipe is a tight fit with a transmission diff brace. It took a little dinging to give that enough clearance.
When they first came out, I think they were a bit less than $900. If you could do the work, it was a deal if you didn't mind putting about another 4-8 hours getting them to fit.
The other down side was they didn't come with cats. I pulled the resonator they came with and welded in a set of metal cats.
They aren't bad but The XS make great power and rival the name brands that cost twice as much and you get awesome customer service. I went with the SW setup which was cheaper then the LG's but more then the XS. I would of went with XS but wanted a 1 7/8" that wasn't gonna break the bank and I made an almost 40extra hp with a tune on a dyno. Went from 311 to 348 or so. Pretty impressive
Everything I see here looks like z's power is a great idea so i am runnIng a b&b prt exhaust would you recommend running cats or no cats If no cats then does that set off a check engine light?

Keep the cats. You don't gain much without them except the smell of raw fuel, which gets old in a street car.

of course if you get it tuned correctly the smell goes away. Neither my C5 or my C3 has cats and neither one of them have a smell. The C3 even has open sidepipes. Its all in the tuning.
