I just changed my slave cylinder this weekend was not as fun as I convinced my friends that helped it would be!! It started with the clutch sticking on the ground when cold and then having to pump it to get it back. I noticed it was leaking fluid though. I put it on the lift and sure enough leaking really bad. So started taking stuff apart and 6 hrs later my DIY project was complete. Took my time and dropped everything slowly and had no hick ups. I wont call my self an expert on this, but I can say I am glad I took this on instead of paying the stealership $17,xxx my slave cylinder was destroyed and the seal was almost non existent.
Six hours from start to finish.
Damn your good & should open your own shop.
Great job!
I have done some work for some vette guys in the past, small stuff, but I dont want my hobby to become a full time job. And its all about having the right tools!!!

6 posts and no one caught "$17,xxx " That cant be right.
But congrats on getting the job done. I put a new one in mine this spring and I already have to replace it again. (New slave, SS line, remote bleeder, Tic master, Motul fluid) and I am now getting the soft pedal after some agressive driving. FML
