Front bumper adjustment.
I took the front bumper off the car to repaint it. I reinstalled it and now noticed the hood sits about 1/4 inch lower than the bumper. I can't raise the hood because the very ends of the hood sit flush with the bumper. So if I raised the hood the ends would now sit to high. Is there a way to lower the bumper or adjust it.

There are 2 brackets bolted together that support the edge of the bumper cover just in front of the hood. You have to pull the cover and adjust these brackets to lower the cover in the middle.

Thank you sir. I wanted to make sure there was an adjustment before I puller it apart.

I don't understand why the same cover going back on wouldn't fit the same? lionel is correct about the adjustment. But, be certain the cover is seating down in the bracket before you start moving stuff around. It has to go back towards the hood before it will drop down all the way.
It's a real PITA adjusting panels on these cars. I must have had the fenders and cover on and off a dozen times until I was satisfied.
