DIC Locked up! Electrical Problem?

DIC Locked up! Electrical Problem?
I have a 99 coupe that has a problem that's driving me nuts. My DIC seems to be locked up. I have an air pressure sensor out and that is what stays displayed on the DIC. I try reseting and no luck. Changed out the DICswitch assy but no fix. To dig deeper I open the dash and unplug the DIC switch assy. The maintenance manual (volume 3 page 8-645 says the Instrument panel cluster (IPC) supplies a 5v reference for each switch circuit. I put a multimeter on the gray wire (ground) and any of the 6 wires goingto the switch and I get 12v. Am I doing something wrong?
