Well I was really excited yesterday because my CCW wheels just arrived. I bolted them up and headed down to the track. The temps were on the hot side and humidity was high also. Track was freshly prepped and VERY sticky. Anyways down to the results.
First pass:
12.86 @ 113 2.17 60' launching 2750 (all motor, 30psi rear tires, clutch held somewhat)
Second Pass:
12.46 @ 119 2.19 60' launching 2750 (100 shot of nitrous, bogged hard, clutch slipped alot)
Third Pass:
12.41 @ 120 2.15 60' launching 2750 (bogged very hard, clutch still slipping all gears)
Fourth pass:
12.26 @ 120 2.11 60' launching 3000 (bogged to 2k, clutch still slipping all gear, short shifting @ 5600)
I usually can pull 123-124mph traps @ mir but for some reason 120 was the best I could pull. I think my slipping clutch is the problem. :reddevil I will get some pics this weekend of my new wheel and tire setup for everyone to see. Any ideas why my trap speed was 3-4mph off? Any comments?

On nitrous ,the Mph could be low due to low bottle pressure,a slipping clutch will also rob ET and Mph.What Mph does the car usually run on motor? How does that compare to the speed you ran yesterday?

The bottle pressure was 1000-1050 on each run. I usually get 123-124mph in the traps. I think the slipping clutch was robbing both mph and ET. The car did go 11.94 @ 124 3 weeks ago so I think the clutch has to be the culprit. :yesnod:

People can gain up to 3mph simply from powershifting, in your case your slipping clutch is doing the opposite for you. By reducing the amount of HP applied to the ground for those tiny increments of time when the clutch is slipping you are losing MPH.
Also hot + humid is about the worst possible for maximum ETs. :)
