After quite a few sseesions at Gingerman my stock rotors are ready to be replaced. (They have been turned twice) I am quite happy with the OEM rotors and would like to replace them with equivalent (cost) rotors. Can anybody suggest a good source for OEM or comparable? I found these on the Forum: http://store.yahoo.com/corvetteforum/ppwerrotseps.html
Any better values out there?
I don't want to use cross drilled.
Also I find that the Hawk "street" pads are cutting grooves in my rotors even though the pads are still quite thick and I followed Hawk's break in proceedure. Has anybody else experienced this?

Did you check my "DBA Post". I am getting a group purhase from Precision Brake comopany for some DBA rotors. They have cross drilled rotors called Longlife Gold and just slotted rotors called Longlife Slotted.

Are you doing both slotted and cross drilled or can you mix?

I am pretty sure you can get either one you want. I will call them on Monday. They sell rotors in pairs(Either front or rear). There Longlife Gold are both slotted and cross drilled. There Longlife slotted are just slotted. Check out their web page... http://www.dba.com.au/home.htm

If you are going to track your car a lot, just stick with the OEM rotors. As soon as you go to cross-drilled rotors on our cars, you are asking for cracking problems when you are roadracing. I have seen the Eradispeeds put up with a huge amount of abuse on the track, but they are quite costly if they are a maintenance item.
I just run OEM rotors with some PFC pads (01s on front and 99s on rear).
The stock C5 calipers and rotors are VERY good and just need a few simple upgrades to help disapate the heat.
