A few days ago I was reading about tunes on the forum and a few guys mentioned getting rid of the Shift Skip or vice versa. I kinda have a feeling of what their talking about but not sure. Can anybody put some light on this for me? Thanks
Don't start with me. I did search through tunes and Shiift Skip..If you don't have a good answer just move on, I'm really tired of some people always giving that comment.

Shed light on it - you adjust some settings and the shift-skip will no longer force the 1-4 shifts. It's just that simple. What else do you want light shed on?

If I was going to have someone reset the 2 mph fuel shutoff if the steering column locks up, is the skip shift something that could be reset at the same time?
That's a lot of Ifs. If you just want to get rid of the shift thing, the $30 is a deal, rather than $400 Plus for a tune. if you have other reasons to retune you car then of course,I agree that retune is the way to go.
Typicaly most of us start out doing easy mods that doesn't require a tune. Then as we get into it,we finaly need our car tune so this is when you would remove the skip-shift harness.
I think!
