Need computer Help!! replaced selective ride shocks with non max speed 85MPH
I replaced the electronicaly controlled shocks with carrera remote resivor shocks. I knew I would get a warning but thought I could just reset it in the dash, but it is flashing the max speed 80 MPH and shutting the fuel off at 80. Need to find a fix, I am running a low speed autox today, but I am running a high speed next week.
Thanks for any help, Dale

Have you tried pinning the shock sensor thats mounted to the frame. Perhaps if you set it in a neutral position it will accept the new shocks.
If you havent done a search for others who have swapped from F45 shocks you might want to give it a try! It has been done before.

You need to disable F45. One member recently changed his F45 shocks to Bilsteins at Xtreme. They put a resistor across the sensors to fool the computer. I don't know if anything else is required but the dealer can disable the option in the computer as well.

I've heard the the F45 computer is the box in the driver's rear side compartment, unplug that box and reset codes and they aren't supposed to come back. Haven't tried this myself, so I can't speak from experience.
