Default clutch fluid change

i will probably be in trouble for starting a new thread on a covered subject but here goes.
i have a 03 with 6 spd. i have noticed all of the treads about slave cyl and clutch pedal problems. no problems at this time just want to protect what i have. how do i change the fluid in the clutch master with out introducing air into the lines and requiring a bleed of the assist cyl. if i completely drain/remove all fluid from the master and do not depress the pedal will air get into the system?

use a turkey baster and suck out some fluid, replace with fresh, pump pedal a few times, repeat until the fluid is clear in the reservoir.

The answer to your question is..NO

Your question was " IF I completely drain/remove all fluid from the master & do not depress the pedal, will I get air into the system?"

Good luck & keep that hydraulic reservoir, m/cylinder clean.

I agree; I did the turkey baster method but my trans broke 3 weeks ago, lost 3rd gear synchros and blocker keys. I now have a stage 4 trans and added the Tick remote bleeder for this reason.

Yes.
Being the brake resevore is so much larger than the clutch resevore, you might want to get one of those larger rubber squeeze type bulbs with spout. Mainly used to pull /add, acid to & from the battery.
Be real carefull that the hydraulic/brake fluid doesn't get splattered on painted surface.
Good luck.

WalMart has a syringe with a small hose already attached to it that I find works much better than a turkey baster.
